What is zubibu?
- Zubibu is a service that allows Internet based vendors to quickly and easily set up a version of their online shop for mobile devices.
-
How long does it take to mobilize my e-commerce shop?
-
We have put in effort to make the start up process of the mobile shop as simple as possible. In most cases you can count on the mobile version to be launched within 10 minutes, if you are able to provide product feed for your account. You can find more information about adding your product feed in our
guide.
If you are not able to complete this process on your own, our system will do this for you and this will take about 24 hours.
-
Will zubibu work with my online shop? What do I have to do?
-
Our technology works with basically every Internet sales website. To fill up the mobile shops with products we use popular product feeds, which are usually available at no additional cost with the software of your shop. The following feed formats are supported by zubibu:
- Google Base (RSS, Atom, CSV)
- Kelkoo (XML, CSV)
- Shopping.com
- Yahoo Store
- Nextag
- PriceGrabber
- Shopzilla
- SLI Systems search feed
- Nokaut
- Ceneo
If your software does not provide us with data from any of the above mentioned formats,
contact us,
so that we can find a solution together.
-
How does zubibu communicate with my traditional online shop?
- Zubibu imports product data from the store via the product feed. In the future modules for popular e-commerce software will be available, allowing for feedback regarding orders made to be transferred to the panel of your traditional Internet shop, so that you can handle all your orders in one place.
-

How can I create a custom look and feel to my mobile website and applications?
-
Zubibu shop is customizable with your own brand elements, such as logo, product images or the shop’s icon. It's worth remembering that for shopping via mobile devices ease of navigation is very important and it's not always a good idea to make your shop stand out by changing a popular form of the navigation in the application. If however, you are interested in a more advanced modification of the appearance, we invite you to
contact us.
Zubibu App for iPad contains an individual shop start up page design covered by the basic subscription.
-
What payment gateways does zubibu support?
- Zubibu supports payment methods that work well on mobile devices. There is nothing worse than an annoyed customer who is unable to pay when finished shopping. At zubibu Web we support PayPal and Skrill/Moneybookers, in the zubibu App we use a special payment library available through PayPal, which does not require the client to provide any information - everything comes from their PayPal account.
-
How does the end user access the mobile site?
- Zubibu installs mobile browser detection script on existing e-commerce website and re-directs to the mobile site if a user accesses the website from a mobile device. As a result, the shop’s clients don't have to wait to find out about the mobile version - it will show itself when it's needed. Of course there is also the possibility of using a dedicated domain for mobile users.
-
How does the end user access mobile applications?
- Zubibu App for iPad and iPhone are being added by our team into the Apple iTunes App Store. Clients can find the application there and download it free of charge onto their devices. From that time the application icon will be available on the client's device screen, which allows almost instant access to the store. Anytime.
-
Does this work without WIFI?
- Zubibu was designed from the onset to be available through cell phone networks, for unrestricted shopping convenience. If WIFI is available the applications take advantage of this possibility. When no such network is in range, zubibu quickly switches to 3G, or EDGE.
-
How is the zubibu service hosted?
- Zubibu is a hosted solution and requires no separate investment in infrastructure.
-
How can I see how my shop will look?
- We have added many photos of different interface elements of the zubibu mobile shop on our web page. Your shop application will contain most of them. In case you want to see it fully configured to suit your needs, we encourage you to create an account and use the free trial period. After partial configuration you will be able to preview your mobile shop before deciding to use zubibu in your traditional online store.
